Pillitteri - Summer & Winter Olympic Campaign
Pillitteri Estates Winery wanted to spread the word about their exclusive partnership with the Canadian Olympic Team for the Toyko 2021 Summer Games and Beijing 2022 Winter Games. The goal was to collaborate with Canadian Olympic athletes to spread awareness across Canada about Pillitteri's Team Canada Collection, with $1 from every purchase going to support the Olympic athletes.
Goal
Blitz Marketing was tasked with creating an influencer campaign to spread the word about Pillitteri's Team Canada Olympic Wine Series. The goal was to target a range of athletes and Olympians with great social media presence who would post throughout the Tokyo and Beijing Olympic Games.

Great wine deserves a great story, so we focused on having the influencers share their support for the Team Canada Collection through feed posts and video content!
Our Solution
Our goal is always to over-deliver for our clients by maximizing their budget and securing the best talent. For the Summer and Winter Olympic campaigns, we utilized a combination of nano, micro, macro and premium athletes to generate buzz about Pillitteri wines and their new partnership with Team Canada.
On top of this campaign, our team created a mini-series for athletes to share what it means to be an Olympian to keep Pillitteri's Olympic wines relevant after the games!
Results
At Blitz, we always work to over-deliver. The final roster included 8 premium, 2 macro and 8 micro influencers. Using these influencers, we were able to garner over 330,000 organic impressions for Pillitteri Winery and drive consumers to purchase the Team Canada Collection in record numbers showing their support for both the winery and athletes!
